Coastal Kindness Help In The Home provides high-quality, person-centred support to individuals who wish to remain in their own homes rather than going into residential care with its ever-increasing costs. Services include companionship, shopping, medication prompting, light domestic assistance (such as cleaning and meal preparation), admin support if required and accompanying or transporting clients to appointments or social outings as well as hospital discharge support.
Hello! I'm Hannah, a mother of two with over nine years of experience in the care sector. My journey began as a Care Giver/Office Administrator for a privately owned home care company, where I developed a deep understanding of the importance of person-centred care. This role ignited my passion for providing compassionate, empathetic, and individualised support to those in need.
I have also worked as a Dementia Support Worker for East Sussex County Council. Working as a Dementia Support Worker gave me professional insight into the condition, but it was already deeply personal when my own grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's — an experience that strengthened my empathy and deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care.
Being a mother has further enriched my nurturing nature, teaching me patience, resilience, and the value of attentive listening. I pride myself on being kind, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those I support.
Outside of my professional life, I have a love for baking, often sharing homemade treats with friends, family, and clients. I believe that small gestures can make a significant difference, and I strive to bring warmth and comfort into every home I enter.
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised care that respects each individual's unique needs and preferences. I'm dedicated to making a positive impact in people's lives, one compassionate interaction at a time.

Yes. Every new arrangement begins with a short trial period so that we can make sure the fit feels right. During this time, either of us can end the arrangement with no notice. After the trial, my normal notice period applies.
I’ll always give you plenty of notice if I take any annual leave. I’ll do my best to help you find suitable cover through my contacts, although this may not always be possible. We’ll always discuss and agree arrangements together so you feel supported.
Yes – I aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to adjust timings or add extra visits, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
I have over 9 years of experience in care and support roles, along with a strong reputation for being reliable, kind, and trustworthy. I’ll always communicate clearly with you so you know exactly what to expect.
You can contact us by phone at 01323 354147, by email info@coastalkindness.co.uk, or visit our Contact Us section for more details.
I’m happy to help with light household tasks such as tidying, laundry, washing up, and meal preparation as part of my support. I’m not able to provide full domestic cleaning services, so for a deeper clean I recommend using a regular cleaner alongside my visits.

"Hannah supported my 80-year-old father in 2023 in a care and companion role, with twice weekly visits of a couple of hours each. He was then in the mid stages of Alzheimer’s and required social stimulation and purposeful activity. She built a very positive relationship with him through her kind and respectful approach including a good sense of humour. She took him out to places, such as the local park to see the squirrels and other wildlife, ten pin bowling, crazy golf and coffee and cake outings. These activities provided great enrichment and fun for him. He enjoyed her company and said that she was a very nice lady. Hannah was always punctual and thorough in her notes for us.
I have no hesitation in recommending Hannah to work with elderly clients with dementia and other needs in a care and companionship role. She is a caring, kind and compassionate person."
Karen Carroll (daughter)
"Hannah looked after my mum and dad for eight years. She delivered outstanding care, and my mum and dad loved her. They felt very relaxed and safe with her. She really got to know them and understood their likes and dislikes. They regarded her as more of a friend and always looked forward to her visits. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she would always go out of her way to help them. Hannah is kind and empathetic and always delivered the best possible care for my mum and dad. She is reliable and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for high quality care."
